There maybe occasions when you will need to disable the Webtrends Optimize integration temporarily.

Because coding the tag into the website templates can require a release, we have a specific process to disable the tag without this so that it can be done expediently and under control.

To Disable Webtrends Optimize

  1. Navigate to Tag Configuration (Or visit https://app.webtrends-optimize.com/optimize/tag/tags directly)

2 - Locate the tag configuration that is “Live” and click on the Edit Icon

3 - Toggle the configuration state from Live to Draft

4 - Click Save, to commit this change

The tag configuration and Webtrends Optimize will be disabled. Tests, Targets etc will not be executed.

Please be aware that the configuration is hosted over a CDN. Please allow 5 to 10 mins for this to propagate globally.

How to Re-enable Webtrends Optimize

Repeat the above steps, but change the tag context previously disabled to “Draft”, back to “Live”
