The audit trail, available to all Webtrends Optimize accounts, keeps an accurate record of activity in your account.

This helps when trying to understand why a given experience is a certain way, e.g. "who turned my test off?".

We store this data for 90 days, with the ability to request longer durations if needed.

Where to find the audit trail

You'll find this in our navigation, in the account section.

What information do I see

The initial view lists events, most recent-to least

If you click into these events, you can explore them. You will be presented with past states (if applicable) and new states, so you can see exactly what's changed.

For example - for switching a test off from the Paused state, we see:

You should expect to see this for updates to existing objects, but past states will not show for new objects you create.
